According to reports, Xiaomi has begun to release Mi 11 media invitations to the world. According to TechRadar, the Snapdragon 888 flagship product will be announced in Europe on February 8th at 1 pm Central European Time (7 am Eastern Time).
This date seems to be correct because yesterday we also heard rumors about it on the Xiaomi Telegram channel. The company also teased on its Twitter account, indicating that the official date announcement may be released soon.
Mi 11 is the first mobile phone to use Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor. However, its global release was launched after the Samsung Galaxy S21 series, which was on sale today.
Although Xiaomi has only announced a mobile phone under the Mi 11 nickname so far, I believe we will also launch Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Lite sometime this year. The former even appeared in the code of Xiaomi’s Gallery app for MIUI 12.
Will Xiaomi launch two other models along with the regular Mi 11 on February 8th? Well, this is anyone’s guess. The company remains silent on this, but we don’t have to wait a long time to find the answer.
Until then, you can read all about the Mi 11 here. There will not be too many competitors after flagship phones land in Europe.
This will also enable the region to experience Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chip for the first time because Samsung only sells Exynos models of the Galaxy S21 series here.
