The complaint also accuses Tesla of failing to do enough to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace. A Human Resources representative has alleged that Cloud’s managers retaliated against her after she brought the matter to their attention.

Jessica Barraza, an associate at Tesla, made the complaint against the company just after filing a lawsuit accusing it of “rampant sexual harassment” at their Fremont, CA factory.

According to Barraza’s lawsuit, she was inappropriately touched, catcalled, and subjected to sexual comments at work. Her managers were also accused of participating in the same behavior, and she claims they knew about it.

The company was fined $137 million for another incident at its Fremont factory in October. Former elevator operator Owen Diaz reported experiencing racial harassment and discrimination at the company.

There was a class action lawsuit later filed by Tesla employees alleging racism at the Fremont factory.
