Since the smartphone was launched in Nepal, the complete Samsung Galaxy M02 specifications have been officially announced. In fact, Nepal is the first country where the brand launched a new cheap smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy M02s India is scheduled to be released on Thursday, January 7. In a press release issued by India earlier today, Samsung revealed some key specifications and design elements of the Samsung Galaxy M02.
It also announced that the price of the smartphone will be less than Rs 10,000. The release of smartphones in Nepal filled the gap that still exists in the rumor factory.

The Samsung Galaxy M02s with the only 4GB + 64GB configuration in Nepal is priced at 15,999 Nepalese rupees (about 10,000 rupees).
Considering that the smartphone has been confirmed to be launched in India at a price of less than Rs 10,000, this is not surprising. Considering that the smartphone’s predecessor price is Rs 8,999, we can expect the price of the Samsung Galaxy M02 in India to be Rs 9,999.
Samsung Galaxy M02s specifications
Some key specifications of the Samsung Galaxy M02s have been confirmed through the official microsite of the smartphone earlier today. These include details such as a 6.5-inch HD+ display with waterdrop notch, 4GB RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery.
It was also confirmed that the smartphone will use the Snapdragon chipset, but the chip name is unknown.
Now, the official release in Nepal tells us that the Samsung Galaxy M02’s spec sheet will include hardware such as Snapdragon 450 SoC, 64GB internal storage, and a microSD card supporting up to 512GB.
The back of the smartphone is equipped with a 13MP (main) + 2MP (portrait) + 2MP (macro) triple camera setup, as well as a 5MP selfie sensor.
Other features will include a display resolution of 720 x 1,560 pixels, a custom appearance based on Android 10 OneUI, 15W fast charging support, and Adreno 506 GPU. Samsung Galaxy M02s has been launched in Nepal in blue, black, and red.
We can expect that the Indian version of the Samsung Galaxy M02 will provide the same features and specifications as the Nepalese model unless some changes are made.
