Razer’s high-tech mask (light-injected masks) excited the cyber ninja, and the company responded but I don’t think this will go beyond gloss rendering and CES headlines. Earlier this week, Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan told Yahoo Finance that the electronics manufacturer plans to manufacture its Project Hazel mask concept.

In addition to the dazzling RGB, it also has a built-in microphone and speaker that can amplify your voice when speaking and has a bacterial filtration efficiency pod that can capture 95% of airborne particles, making it compatible with N95 masks Comparable.

Tan did not disclose when the masks will be put into production, but he explained that after vaccination, many people will still want to cover up in the future.

In some countries and regions, it may not be possible to vaccinate the entire population within the next two years. The Razer CEO added: “The Hazel Project will become a reality. We will achieve this goal. Unfortunately, I think we will wear masks for a long time.”

Tan said: “We have realized that even if you have been vaccinated, you still have to be covered up because there are still risk factors. Even if you have been vaccinated, you still need to be very cautious.” Many countries may still need one or two. It will take years to fully vaccinate.

The Razer’s high-tech mask high-tech project touted at CES Hazel mask design is transparent and has internal LED lights that allow you to see your mouth in low light. It uses replaceable filters and rechargeable ventilators on two breathing boxes.

You can adjust the air volume, and the pod has built-in audio processing algorithms, which can make your voice sound clearer and more natural.

The mask also has active ventilation and automatic sterilization functions; an independent shell that can be charged wirelessly; and an ultraviolet sterilizer. The movement indicator of the pod lights up to indicate the charging status.

If there is something like high-end masks, then the Hazel Project may be it. There is no release timeline, but considering that Tan thinks we may wear masks in the next two years when the Hazel project finally debuts in the retail market, it may be worth the investment.
