With business and creator accounts, Instagram users can access a variety of metrics called Insights that show how their posts are performing.
Presently, the social network is giving them admittance to more information by dispatching experiences for reels and live video.
While live video has been available on the platform for a while, Reels has added a brand new feature: Instagram bought last year after months of testing that gives users the option of ticking inside the app.
With new insight data in place, users will be able to see how many choices, likes, comments, savings and share their short-form reel videos and see how many accounts they reach.
For live video, the Insight page shows the number of comments and shares they receive, the number of accounts they access, and the number of their extreme concurrent viewers.
Additionally, Instagram has updated the Account Insights page, which is accessible via the pull-down menu in the top-right corner, with more useful information.
Its access section now divides accounts that interact with user content into followers and unfollowers. In addition, it provides a category of content based on the interaction of access and account type that gives users an idea of what is most effective for their audience.
Instagram will start rolling out new preset time frame options on the Insight page in the coming months, as well, so that users can filter data in ways other than the last or days0 days numbers.
Finally, users will be able to access insight data on desktop in the near future. Instagram promises more updates for the feature over the years, however, to help businesses grow their audience and engage their followers.
