Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro Won’t have Google Apps Store
Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro is the latest smartphone released by Huawei at an event in Munich, Germany. Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro might be powered by EMUI 10 based on Android 10 but you won’t able to find Google play store, Gmail, Google Maps and Google Search but Huawei is keeping planning to release new operating system (OS) with Huawei App Gallery (app store).
Huawei has now confirmed that the new gadget will available for Europe (UK, France, Italy, Germany and more) but US ban (tag) is still in place means preventing any US companies from doing business with Huawei.
According to Google Mate 30 and Mate, 30 Pro from Huawei can’t allow to ship with Google’s apps and services preinstalled. It means effectively banning new Huawei devices from key parts of Android like Play store. That’s because only one region Huawei is giving serious consideration to using Android even company has own OS (Harmony) for the smartphone. But no matter what happens Google services won’t available on new Mate 30 and 30 Pro phones like you’ll find traditionally on Android phones.

CEO of Huawei (Richard Yu) also confirmed at a press event in Germany that the company has been drop Google’s Mobile Service (GMS) license on the Mate 30 series of Huawei devices. Also, Yu said, “We are forced to do this, We have a good relationship with Google, but the US government forced us to do this and we no other option.” Presently without Google apps definitely the Mate 30 or Mate 3o Pro will be a smartphone that many consumers ignore, no matter what will be a replacement for Google apps but Huawei has a solution and that’s where comes the Huawei Mobile Service (HMS) in place. CEO Richard also confirmed that the ban effects on the phone sales revenue but he believes it will sell within China and other world markets as well.
Huawei new HMS will be an open-source ecosystem. It has very own “core and capabilities” built on the top of the operating system (OS) and also able to support third-party apps. The company wants to turn the App Gallery into a Google Play Store alternative.
Huawei is using a huge amount ($1 Billion) fund to build HMS development to bring their very own creation Huawei’s version Android. To be fact, Huawei can’t make this easily the alternative to Google’s play store and associated services but Huawei already integrated over 45,000 apps with Huawei Mobile Service but however there will be many more than 1,000 apps are still required to make available in Huawei’s App Gallery.
It is a very huge task to get in done to developers to supports its own app store but has to be done because Huawei does not have another choice. Anyone who is hardcore Android user who wants or buy to switch from Google to Huawei, which will own or better only time will decide.
