Dating apps provide free credits and other features to vaccinated users

A group of companies are offering gifts to people who have received the COVID-19 vaccine, and now dating apps are offering perks.

The White House has teamed up with the nine largest dating sites to encourage more people to get vaccinated.

According to Axios, Tinder, OkCupid, Bumble, Badoo, BLK, Hinge, Chispa, Match and Plenty of Fish are all participating in it.

You’ll be able to add a sticker or badge to your profile explaining potential matches that you’ve been vaccinated against. Apps are also offering premium perks such as Boost and Super Swipe, which users are usually required to take on a pay-per-use basis.

If they aren’t sufficient for encouragement, OkCupid’s research may be enough to push some holdouts for vaccination.

The app says that users who have received or are planning to get their shots have 14% more matches than others.

So if you’re looking for love after lockdown, you might have a better shot at getting on a date if you’re waxing up.

The White House wants at least 70% of American adults to receive at least one dose of the vaccine by July 4.

With the dating app Partnership, the Biden administration has teamed up with Uber and Lyft to offer free and discounted rides on vaccination sites.
