It has been generally unpopular to adapt anime into live-action (look at you, Ghost in the Shell). Cowboy Bebop is getting a new take on Netflix, and it seems like things are going well.

In the first batch of images, we see the core cast looking great, along with some designers from the 1998 anime. Netflix has rehired legendary composer Yoko Kanno, while original director Shinichir* Watanabe casts a consulting role on the series.
Cowboy Bebop started production in 2019, but the project was paused for eight months after Cho injured his knee on set. Ultimately, the film was completed in March.
Three bounty hunters fleeing their pasts are the focus of this space western.
This film centers on Spike Spiegel (John Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda), who form a crew of killers ready to hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals at any cost.
