Beats Fit Pro, the company’s best earbud to date, was available exclusively in the United States shortly after its release. The earbuds were launched in China after that, but they will become more widely available on January 28th. In Canada, Europe, and Japan, the Beats Fit Pro will launch then.
Apple announced via Twitter that pre-orders for the “global” release will begin on January 24 before the buds are released on January 28. Beats Fit Pro have flexible wingtips that make them comfortable to wear (even when exercising).
Engadget reports that the Beats Fit Pro will be priced at £200 / €230 in Europe; $250 CAD in Canada; and 24,800 Yen in Japan. Black, white, gray, and purple are the color options for the Fit Pro earbuds.
Their active noise cancellation technology is the same as the AirPods Pro, and they are water resistant to IPX4 standards. Furthermore, they support head tracking when listening to spatial audio.
The battery lasts for up to six hours per charge, while the case lasts up to 21 hours. The AirPods do not have all the bells and whistles: there is no wireless charging, for instance, and voice calls remain better with the AirPods.
Despite this, they maintain most of Apple’s ecosystem tricks while simultaneously delivering an arguably better, more powerful audio experience in a fit that offers superior stability.
